First Aid at Work.
This HSE (Health and Safety Executive) compliant and nationally recognised First Aid at Work course is brimming with hands-on practical activities designed to help build an high level of confidence when dealing with emergency situations both in and out of the workplace, whilst also providing ample time to discuss and better understand specific conditions, illnesses, and/or injuries.
Those working in high-risk workplaces where an on-site HSE first aider is required, including (but not limited to) those which require heavy manual work, or operate machinery, as well as those with an interest in furthering their own personal first aid training and skills.
3 days.
Basic Life Support (CPR) for adults, children, and babies.
Choking in adults, children, and babies.
How to correctly use a Defibrillator (AED).
Unconsciousness and the Recovery Position.
Head, neck and back injuries.
Asthma, panic attacks, drowning, and fumes.
Heart attacks, shock, electric shock, and anaphylaxis.
Injuries to bones, joints, and muscles.
Bleeds, burns, and other wounds.
Seizures, diabetes, and meningitis.
Nationally recognised HSE (Health and Safety Executive) compliant First Aid at Work certification (valid for 3 year).
